About

Welcome to our Ship’s blog, sponsored and created by a group of very kind colleagues as a going away present before I left UCLA. I hope you enjoy the blog. You are welcome to add comments, but I will only be able to do my task as moderator when we are in port, so you may not see your comment for a month or so. We can post messages to this site via our onboard radio but that’s about it. You are welcome to visit our Silver Lining Academy Homepage where I hope to add more background info soon. For now we’re storing pictures of our voyage with some location data using Picasa’s map feature.

wow… talk about living vicariously! Love the site, pictures, etc and look at everything often to cleanse the mind and soul. Helps to put the unnecessary business of life here in perspective.
    much love,
    Diane

    Thanks Diane,
I’m glad your enjoying it! The nice comments keep me motivated to stick with it. I know some of the posts are long. I get a little carried away sometimes; it’s the downside of actually having a little time and no editor!

    Missing you much,
    Mo

I am SOOO jealous! I saw some Picassa pictures on Cam’s computer and asked her to forward them to me. They are awesome! I cannot believe that incredibly handsome young man on the boat – that can’t really be Logan can it? I will not recognize him when you get back. I haven’t seen one of Kennan yet – that’s why I want to get on your Picassa – I’ll bet he is grown like crazy also! Let us know when you will next be in a port of call that can be reached by a plane and Taylor and I will fly out there! And Cam if we can get her away from the babies! What a life experience for you and your family,
    Love you
    Barbara
